Miss Nederland International is a national beauty pageant which selects the national Dutch representative for the Miss International beauty pageant. ==History== Netherlands began to compete at Miss International in 1960. The official candidate selected by Miss Holland winner or runner-up every year. *In 1961 Miss Holland, Stam van Baer won the title of Miss International 1961 in Long Beach, California, United States. *In 1960-1998 the representatives were selected by Runner-up of Miss Holland Contest. *In 2002-2008 no national franchise of Miss International in the Netherlands. *Since 2009 Miss Nederland International selects candidate from casting or appointing.
